— Daroach • Kirby Mass Attack |
Jellifrizz is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack.
Physical Appearance
Jellifrizz resembles a purple, cube-shaped jellyfish. It has five stubby tentacles and two beady black eyes. Jellifrizz comes in two sizes, big and small. Small Jellifrizz has a shorter head than typical Jellifrizz does. Jellifrizz charges before attacking, indicated by a yellow glow.
Games
Kirby Mass Attack
Jellifrizz is an aquatic foe that first appears in Stage 10 of Green Grounds. It attacks by creating four electrical orbs and shooting them diagonally. When defeated, it separates into five small Jellifrizzes. These periodically surround themselves in a field of electricity. The timing is synchronized with other on-screen small Jellifrizzes.
A space variant appears on Stage 11 of Volcano Valley.
Trivia
- If the Kirbys touch a large Jellifrizz when they're under the effects of Invincibility Candy, it will be knocked off the screen without splitting into five small Jellifrizzes.
- There are unused sprites for a blue version of small Jellifrizz and a slightly smaller large Jellifrizz within the game.
