Hot Wings is a phoenix-like boss appearing the game Kirby's Epic Yarn. It is the second boss of the game and also the boss of Hot Land.

Appearance

It appears as a red bird with a blue crest and blue tail feathers. Hot Wings' wings are completely shroud in flames and can damage Kirby on contact. It has an orange beak and orange talons and also has a purple eye. Hot Wings' weakspot seems to be the button on its belly.

Attacks

One of Hot Wings' main attacks is summoning smaller flame-covered birds (Called Embirds) to attack Kirby and Prince Fluff. These birds can be used against the boss though and seems to be the only attack capable of damaging the boss. As the boss fight continues, Hot Wings sends a larger amount of birds at Kirby and Prince Fluff.

Hot Wings also has the ability to send fiery rock-like projectiles from the sky. It can be easily dodged just by watching through the spaces.

Hot Wings is also able to fly across the screen horizontally across the screen, and Prince Fluff and Kirby can be damaged by it. This can be seen by the side of the screen being partially lit up and simply by dodging the attack.

Every few minutes, Hot Wings also rearranges the floor/platforms. This often changes the ability to dodge the birds that Hot Wings sends at Kirby and Prince Fluff.

Another attack is summoning fire/lava from the floor. This often happens after the stage/platforms are changed. Simply by standing on said new platforms, Kirby and Prince Fluff are able to dodge the attack in general.
