Hamsturr is a mid-boss in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack.

Physical Appearance

Hamsturr is a bipedal hamster with light brown fur and dark brown ears. It wields a rounded flail and carries a cracked brown shield. Its hands are detached from its body. It has a small red nose, and its face is always scowling.

Games

Kirby Mass Attack

Hamsturr appears exclusively in Stage 10 of Dedede Resort, at the end of King Dedede's candy castle. Its only attack is swinging its flail at the Kirbys, which is preceded by a yellow flash. This attack damages those it hits rather than KOing them.

To defeat Hamsturr, the player must first destroy its shield by flicking the Kirbys into it until it breaks. If the Kirbys attempt to pummel it, they are shaken off. Once the shield is gone, the heroes can pummel and defeat Hamturr like a normal enemy. The mid-boss is still able to charge up and attack with its flail while being pummeled, so the player should be prepared to dodge it if this happens.

Trivia

• Hamsturr, Big Birdee, Freezy Rex, Quadgun, the Mothership, and Shadowbite are the only Kirby Mass Attack mid-bosses that don't appear in Survival Rush.
