HB-002 is a character in Kirby's Dream Land 3. He appears in the sixth level of Ripple Field. In order to see him, Kirby must enter the fifth room and enter the underwater door. Once visited, he tells Kirby that he wants him to carve his image out of Star Blocks. If done correctly, he will give Kirby a Heart Star at the end of the level.

Physical Appearance

HB-002 is a yellow creature that resembles a stack of blocks. A similar character is HB-007.

Etymology

HB-002's name comes from the game Mario Picross. Puzzle 2B of Easy Picross is a diamond, which is the same shape as HB-002.

• In Dimension III of Kirby Star Allies’ Heroes in Another Dimension sub-game, Adeleine & Ribbon must carve shapes into block formations in order to obtain Friend Hearts. One of these shapes is nearly identical to that of HB-002. This may have been intended as reference to him.
