Ice Needle (also called Giant Spiny Snowflake^[1] or Snowflake^[2]) is a Power Combo appearing in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. Kirby gets this ability when he mixes Ice with Needle. Kirby encases himself in a snowflake that grows in size at a slow rate, freezing any enemy that comes in contact with him. Kirby is not able to move while using the ability.

Trivia

Nintendo Power erroneously states that the ability uses "five icy prongs" despite the fact that snowflakes have six. However, this may be because the bottom prong generally goes through the floor, making it typically unused to attack enemies with.
In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, an Evolved Ability of Ice named "Blizzard Ice" makes its debut. It is comparable to Ice Needle.
