|This article is about the enemy in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. For other uses, see Ghost (disambiguation).|
|“||Ghost Knights present two problems. First, they try to jab Kirby with their lances if he gets too close. Second, their shields deflect nearly any attack, meaning that you must get in close and inhale them or avoid them altogether. If Kirby exhales an enemy at Ghost Knight after he swings the sword, Ghost Knight's power can be combined.”|

Ghost Knight is a one-eyed blue ghost that has a smiling mouth. It carries a white lance with a red point and a blue shield rimmed with white. Ghost Knight's circular eye is white with a large, black pupil.
Ghost Knight always remains stationary, floating in one spot. When Kirby approaches, it will occasionally jab at him with its lance, though due to the long windup before this move, the player has plenty of time to react. Ghost Knight also has strong defensive capabilities. It does not normally use its shield, but whenever Kirby shoots a projectile at it, it will bring up its shield to defend itself. The shield only blocks weak projectiles, such as Kirby's Air Gun or a one-projectile Star Spit; if hit with either a melee attack or a strong projectile, however, the shield will not be able to block the attack. Ghost Knight is also unable to block attacks if it is in the middle of winding up to jab Kirby with its lance.
When Kirby holds a Ghost Knight above his head, the Ghost Knight will hold up its shield to block enemy projectiles.
- Ghost Knight, Snipper, Sawyer, I³ and Plugg are the only enemies originating in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards to reappear elsewhere in the series.
- Ghost Knight's rounded body and single eye make him somewhat resemble 02.
- In the artwork shown in the credits, a Ghost Knight appears standing on an I³. This Ghost Knight, however, is colored green with no mouth, and has a gray lance and a yellow-rimmed blue and brown shield.
