Gao Gao is an dog-like animal mid-boss so far appearing only in Kirby: Squeak Squad. He attacks by jumping high in the air, then drilling downward, and spinning with his arms extended. After spinning, he will walk back and forth with his eyes squinted due to fatigue. Spinning also creates two stars that can be spat back at him. He is related to Gaw Gaw. However, Animal Kirby does not do the spin-claw attack just like Gao Gao until he earns the Animal Scroll. It resembles a mole, bear, and a cat, and also has capabilities somewhat like Bugzzy.
Physical Appearance
He has a light blue belly and royal blue body. He has three tan-yellow large claws on each hand. He has orange circles on the palms of his paws. He also doesn't have whiskers, but has blue ovals where whiskers could go. He has a furry head and two small, cute eyes. He also has strong, long range arms.

- "Gao" is the Japanese version of the English word "Bark," referencing Gao Gao's Animal ability.
- Gao Gao is one of the few characters in the Kirby series to have toes. Others include Daroach (and Dark Daroach), Sir Slippy, Bonkers, Storo, Box Boxer, Gaw Gaw, and Acchi.
