Fuwa Rover is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. They are only found in haunted stages.

Physical Appearance

Fuwa Rovers are ghost-like enemies that have round, periwinkle bodies with stubby arms and a stubby tail. They have a raspberry, skull-looking mask for a face and they have menacing, yellow eyes.

Games

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Fuwa Rover appears out of thin air and chases Kirby; if he runs far enough, the ghost will quit pursuing him and vanish. Most Fuwa Rovers will simply hover in place, or actively chase Kirby when he enters in close proximity to them. Certain Fuwa Rovers are invisible and can only be seen by their reflections in a background mirror.

Kirby Battle Royale

Fuwa Rovers make a cameo appearance as spectators in Coin Clash.

Etymology

Its name may derive from the onomatopoeia ふわふわ/フワフワ (fuwafuwa), which describes something light, airy or floating, and the word rover, a person who wanders/roams.
