Floof is a very rare enemy that appears in Kirby Mass Attack, being first found in Sandy Canyon.
Floof is a cloud that comes in two forms: a white, regular cloud and a gray, rain cloud. If Floof is white, it will hover in place, while carrying fruit. If Kirby comes near, it will try to fly away from him. Because of this, white Floof may be shy. Kirby must catch up to it and attack it (with the aid of his clones) to defeat it before it gets away. Afterward, the little hero will be rewarded with the fruit. The gray Floofs are more dangerous, however. These Floofs attempt to hover above Kirby and strike him with lightning. Although they pose as a threat, they are also helpful to make certain plants in the desert. They are also known as "Zapfloofs".
Etymology
Floof's name is a pun on the word "fluff", which is used when describing clouds as fluffy.
