The Warp Screen is the starting area in Kirby's Pinball Land.
General Information[]
Upon pressing Start on the title screen, the player will be taken to the Warp Screen. The Warp Screen contains three Warp Stars, each leading to a different Pinball Land. The left Warp Star leads to Whispy Woods Land, the middle Warp Star leads to Kracko Land, and the right Warp Star leads to Poppy Brothers' Land. The player can use the flippers to navigate Kirby to one of the Warp Stars, otherwise the player can wait for Kirby to fall into the cannon, where the player can press A to shoot Kirby at the desired Warp Star.
Once Kirby is in one of the Pinball Lands, the only way to return back to the Warp Screen is to activate the Warp Star gimmick at the Bottom Stage of a Pinball Land and ride it, or to defeat that Pinball Land's boss, as a Warp Star will appear in the drain, leading Kirby back to the Warp Screen.
Once Kirby has defeated a Pinball Land's boss and returned to the Warp Screen, the Warp Star corresponding to that boss' Pinball Land will be replaced by an Extra Ball. The Extra Ball flashes the letters E-X-T-R-A, and hitting it will cause it to disappear and the letter it was displaying to appear on the Warp Screen. Spelling out EXTRA rewards the player with an extra Kirby.
Once all three Pinball Lands' bosses have been defeated, and the player has destroyed all of the Extra Balls, a Warp Star will appear that leads the player to the Dedede Arena to face off against King Dedede.
