Boost Orb is an item appearing in Kirby Battle Royale. They are first unlocked for play in Battle Mode after winning the Silver League Qualifier Battle and are then obtained in The Cake Royale's Platinum League. However, they cannot be used in Online Battle. Boost Orbs allow Kirby to equip three ability buffs, some of which are activated by tapping them on the touch screen, and others whose effects are active by simply equipping them. A maximum of three Boost Orbs can be equipped at a time. Boost Orbs can be bought for 400 Battle Coins each.

Trivia[]
Some of the Boost Orbs make reference to Copy Abilities or items from previous Kirby games:
Maxim Tomato is a direct reference to a staple food item that fully restores health.
Superspicy Curry is a direct reference to an item from Kirby's Dream Land that causes Kirby to rapidly spit fire. The Boost Orb's effects are most similar to those of the item's Super Smash Bros. Brawl variant.
Big Air Bullet is similar to Mint Leaf item from Kirby's Dream Land, specifically the variant that appears in Kirby Fighters. This is due to the large air bullet it performs at the end.
Power Throw is a reference to the Throw ability that appears in several games.
Metal is a reference to the Copy Ability of the same name from Kirby: Squeak Squad.
