Through the Tunnel is the second stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. It is the second stage of Natural Plains. It succeeds Downtown Grassland and precedes Rocky Rollin' Road.
General Information[]
Kirby and Bandana Waddle Dee pass through a dark construction tunnel. This stage has significantly more pits than Point of Arrival and Downtown Grassland, so it teaches the player to move cautiously. To find hidden Waddle Dees and other secrets, Kirby should hold onto a Fire ability to light Lantern Switches and Cannon fuses. Gordos and Gordo Bars present hazards around rising platforms.
In addition to an optional use of the Dome Mouth mode, Kirby must learn to use the Stairs Mouth mode. This is used in a sidescrolling area to crush Durable Blocks and squash enemies, as well as reach a wanted poster and cannon. After discarding it, Kirby reaches the outdoors once again and rescues the captured Waddle Dees.
