Dooter Snake[1] is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. It does not yield a Copy Ability when inhaled.

Physical Appearance[]

Dooter Snake is a small red snake with a large head. It has a pink underbelly, a blue tongue, and big eyes with purple eyeliner. In Extra Mode, Dooter Snake is yellow in color. It has a cream-colored underbelly, a purple tongue, and red eyeliner. Some Dooter Snakes are much larger than the regular ones.

Games[]

Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[]

Dooter Snake is a minion of the boss of Raisin Ruins, Mr. Dooter. The genie tosses two of them out of his turban as an attack. The serpents hop twice before slithering off-stage. Though they typically only jump forward, they can also jump back toward their master; as such, they exhibit some amount of unpredictability. When Mr. Dooter's health is at or below 50%, he increases the attack's potency by releasing three to five Dooter Snakes. Their spontaneous movement is slightly more apparent when more of them are on screen.

In Extra Mode, Dooter Snakes act largely the same way. Mr. Dooter EX always releases them in groups of five, and their movement is somewhat more unpredictable. When the boss's health is at or below 50%, he gains the ability to toss out five large Dooter Snakes, which act like their smaller counterparts. These ones are no more durable than ordinary Dooter Snakes.

Magolor's boss forms can summon red Dooter Snakes during their respective battles. Magolor EX and Magolor Soul cannot, however.

Green variants are summoned by Electricky Dooter as one of the boss's attacks.
