Jerkweeds are common sights in Kirby Mass Attack.

Jerkweeds are green (brown in Sandy Canyon) vines that hang from ceilings, and can be pulled by the Kirbys. Once pulled, the jerkweeds will reveal either a key, fruit, a medal, or an enemy/enemies. There are also some jerkweeds covered in thorns, and they cause the Kirbys to take damage if they touch it. However, the jerkweeds with thorns will turn into regular jerkweeds continuously, so good timing is needed to grab these jerkweeds without taking damage.
Etymology[]
Jerkweed's name is a combination of "jerk," referencing the tugging motion Kirby must perform to pull it out of ceilings, and "weed," referencing its plantlike appearance.
