Saucer is a Transformation that both Kirby and Prince Fluff can take on in Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. The two can transform into this form by getting the relevant Metamortex. It first appears in Flower Fields, then later appears in Weird Woods and Future City.

Physical Appearance

Kirby pilots a pink and red UFO with yellow lights and a yellow star-shaped antenna along with a purple dome. Prince Fluff looks similar, but has his crown in place of the antenna. The overall appearance is similar to Kirby while using the UFO Copy Ability in certain previous titles.

Abilities

While in this form, Kirby and Prince Fluff can absorb enemies, arrows and spears from Waddle Dees, and hollow orange Yarn Blocks by pressing or . Scarfy is the one exception that cannot be absorbed, in either the harmless or monster form. Absorbing enemies turn the yellow lights on the underside of the saucer orange, and after all three become orange, the star-antenna will buzz, and the player can electrify the whole screen and destroy absolutely everything, save for Denim Blocks, with or .

Trivia

• Although it resembles the UFO ability, its attacks are more like Spark and Crash.
• Unlike all the other Metamortex abilities, Saucer will bounce off a wall if it touches one.
