Mega Grindarr is a large enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack.

Physical Appearance[]

Mega Grindarr is a humongous variant of Grindarr; as such, it is a rectangular stone block attached to a long, silver chain. It has no hands, but instead has feet with three digits on each. It has a pair of vigilant eyes, a nose, a large oblong mouth, and an enormous tongue. The enemy is a metallic gray color.

In Kirby and the Rainbow Curse, Mega Grindarr is a square shape and is a lighter shade of gray. It no longer connects to a chain.

Kirby Mass Attack[]

A single Mega Grindarr appears embedded in the sand in Stage 10 of Sandy Canyon. When pulled out of the ground, it happily sticks out its tongue as sand begins to rise rapidly in the ruins. Like gray Grindarr, Mega Grindarr is invincible.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[]

A single Mega Grindarr appears in the stage Dig and Dash. Like Grindarr, this enemy slowly drops when the platform it rests on is eliminated. Rather than opening its eyes and mouth wide like its smaller counterpart, Mega Grindarr sticks its tongue out as it falls. If the enemy squashes Kirby, he will be instantly KO'd.

Mega Grindarr's incredible weight gives it the power to crash through Metal Blocks and other blocks that Kirby cannot break.
