Kirby Wiki

Fallen-Star Beach is the forty-third stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. It is the sixth stage of Everbay Coast and is the Starry version of Abandoned Beach. It succeeds Lost in Alivel Mall and precedes Washed Away at the Cement Summit.

General Information[]

Upon beginning the stage, Kirby lands on the low-tide area he first explored in Abandoned Beach. Crystalline matter crowds the beach, and a few Blippers and Gordos patrol the water. A few Gordos float around a massive whirlpool, but a nearby Big Starryflower plugs up the vortex with a crystal pillar when destroyed. Eventually, Kirby nears the island he originally hopped on a Warp Star on. However, before he can float there, a crystal meteor lands east of the island, parting the water before crystallizing it. Kirby can then proceed through the formerly flooded sands. Eventually, while climbing up a few rock formations, Kirby can find a Gotcha Capsule behind a waterfall on the left side of the path. Once he reaches the top of the rocks, a Galactal awaits him up ahead. After its defeat, Kirby can rescue a Starry revealed on a high ledge before heading through a Door.

This section begins similarly to the previous area, with crystallized water surrounding the path. Past a Gnawcodile, there are Sword and Needle Copy Essences placed before a battle against Crystal Fleurina. Kirby should obtain Tornado after her defeat to fly over several Gnawcodile-infested waters. One such body of water contains several elevated Switches Kirby can activate to reveal a platform containing a Big Starryflower. Its destruction creates crystal stairs he can climb to be able to soar over to a nearby tower, which rewards him with a Treasure Chest. The following platform contains a few sand dunes that Kirby can clear with Tornado. After this platform, Kirby can fly over a few more Gnawcodiles before reaching another Door.

Here, Kirby can move past a few Walfs to discover a gear, which he can inhale to receive Gear Mouth. He can use it to climb up a few walls before reaching a crystal ledge, which contains a section of scalable wall to its right that hides a Gotcha Capsule. After collecting it, he can continue up and past several platforms to reach another wall. The wall contains a Big Starryflower that creates a thin path to the right when destroyed. If he can cross it, he will find a massive, broken-down stone wall containing a set of Collect pieces. Their collection reveals a Starry to rescue. After saving it, Kirby must make a large jump over to a platform east of the wall. A Gotcha Capsule can be collected if Kirby manages to land on the TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS sign. The goal is right ahead, but Kirby can find a pile of Starry Coins if he climbs the broken wall behind it.

Missions[]

Italicized missions are hidden from view on the player's first playthrough.

  • Clear the stage: When Kirby clears the stage for the first time, he will automatically save 3 Starries.
  • Save the hidden Starries: 3 Starries are hidden throughout the stage, requiring Kirby to rescue them. Their locations are the following:

    • On another high ledge Kirby can reach by destroying a purple Big Starryflower, though he must hurry across the timed platforms.
    • In the Gear Mouth region, appearing after finding every Collect piece.
  • Find 7 treasures in the ocean: 7 Treasure Chests usually containing Star Coins can be found throughout the stage, their locations being:
    • Shortly after the waters are parted, found in a crevice indicated by a sparkling spot.
    • Revealed by destroying a Big Starryflower to the right of the first Crystal Balloon-Meister.
    • On top of a small tower in the second section.
    • Inside a sand dune found directly after the third treasure.
    • Hidden in a cave found on the right side of the dune island, with the entrance hidden by a sand dune. This Treasure Chest contains a Gotcha Capsule.
    • In plain sight in the third area, found on the top-right region of the path after scaling two walls.
    • Behind a cracked wall past the Bernard.
  • Don't get eaten by a Gnawcodile: If Kirby clears the second section without being bitten by a Gnawcodile, the mission is completed shortly before entering the third area.
  • Jump as a gear, and stick to a big sign: Near the end of the Gear Mouth section, Kirby must make a large jump over to the TWINKLING STAR SHOWERS sign and stick onto it to complete the mission.
