KNiD Pep Brew

A Pep Brew in Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land.

Pep Brew[1] (also known as Energy DrinkKirby Air Ride or Peppy Tonic[2]) is a recurring recovery item in almost every title in the Kirby series, first appearing in Kirby's Dream Land. It is an energy drink contained in a yellow bottle that can be found in various locations on the field. In Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, it sometimes appears in small Treasure chests.

Use

Pep Brew is the third best recovery item, recovering one-third or two bars of Kirby's vitality instantly, in contrast to regular food, which restores half this amount. Chicken recovers one-half, while Maxim Tomatoes always fully recover Kirby's HP.

There are a few known exceptions to this rule, however. In Kirby's Adventure and Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land's Extra Game, where Kirby's vitality is halved; Pep Brew's recovery is scaled to half in that game mode. Also, in Kirby Air Ride, Pep Brew heals 70 hit points instead of one-third of the maximum.
