Dynamite is a combination ability used in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards made by mixing both the Stone and Bomb abilities. Kirby chucks a bundle of dynamite sticks to destroy enemies, star block or elemental barriers. Kirby can kick the dynamite around by walking into it, but it will ricochet off walls and such, making it difficult for Kirby to aim precisely at enemies, and Kirby must move quickly, because he only has a few seconds before the dynamite explodes. Kirby may also duck for cover and don a hardhat to prevent being damaged during the explosion. This is one of Kirby's most powerful mix abilities in Kirby 64. It deals more damage than any other mix in the game.
Appearance
When Kirby ducks down when the dynamite is lit, he produces a hardhat and covers his head with it to prevent harm from the explosion. However, it will not protect him from regular damage. The hard hat he wears is yellow with a white band around the middle and has a green cross on the front (the most commonly represented form of hard hat in Japan).
