Dethskullk is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. It's ruled by Dethskullk King.
Physical Appearance[]
Dethskullk is a purple and magenta ghost with what appears to be a white skull mask on its face and yellow horns. It also resembles a Skully from Kirby Mass Attack.

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[]
Dethskullk appears exclusively in the stage The Haunted Ship. It slowly chases Kirby when the hero is turned away from it. The enemy will instantly KO Kirby if the two collide. Dethskullk can only be defeated by using a Star Dash or Invincibility Candy.
Etymology[]
Dethskullk's name is derived from the words "death", referencing being KO'd upon coming in contact with it, "skull", referencing its appearance, and "skulk", referencing its behavior.
Its Japanese name, デスドクロン (Desu Dokuron), is also derived from the words "death", デス (desu); and "skull", ドクロ/どくろ/髑髏 (dokuro). However, its name specifically contains the Japanese name for Skully, ドクロン (Dokuron), implying they may be related.
Trivia[]
- Dethskullk's behavior is similar to that of Mumbies and some Scarfys and Degouts, as the three enemies don't attack if the player is looking at them.
