These droopy creatures used to hang peacefully from vines and throw bombs to catch fish. But then someone was like, "Hey! That's dangerous!" So now they just throw bombs at Kirby.
— Figurine description • Kirby and the Rainbow Curse

Dangle Sloth is a regular enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

Physical Appearance[]

Dangle Sloth is a yellow sloth that has two green fingers and toes on each hand and foot, respectively. It has three teeth in its mouth and white irises in its green eyes.

Games[]

Kirby and the Rainbow Curse[]

Dangle Sloth is a rare enemy, as it appears exclusively in the stage Deep-Divin' Kirby Submarine. When its vine drops from the top of the screen, the enemy comes along with it. Once it's at a safe altitude above the lake surface, Dangle Sloth tosses two cylindar-shaped bombs marked with skulls patterns into the water. These bombs are thrown in Kirby Submarine's general direction. The enemy then reaches its hand into its pocket and digs around for more explosives. Kirby Submarine can defeat it by spitting two torpedoes or one super torpedo at it.

Dangle Sloths occasionally ambush Kirby Submarine in groups.

Etymology[]

Dangle Sloth's name is a combination of the words "dangle," referencing its tendency to hang from vines, and "sloth," referencing its species.
