Cupcakes is a minigame stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet.

General Information[]

Cupcakes is a hexagonal arena with a base made up of cupcake platforms, creating a surface of bubble-like bumps. Some cupcakes are covered in chocolate frosting, slowing those that travel across them. Falling chocolates may also appear during the falling strawberries event, serving as obstacles that fall directly on top of cupcakes. The bombs briefly stun any Kirby they hit. Three kinds of minigame events can be played on this stage: "Eat the falling strawberries!", "Defeat enemies and eat strawberries!", and "Crumble crates and eat strawberries!". When 20-30 seconds are up, depending on the selected mode, the minigame ends.

Cupcakes is a default stage that does not need to be unlocked to appear in battle royale matches.

Variants[]

The stage has nine variants that can appear at random at the start of a battle royale match, each with an associated event. Each variant has its own unique layout and placement of objects.
