Crossing Wondaria is the forty-fifth stage in Kirby and the Forgotten Land - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World. It is the sixth stage of Wondaria Remains and is the Starry version of Welcome to Wondaria. It succeeds Washed Away at the Cement Summit and precedes Spinning Dream Parade.
General Information[]
The stage begins in the first area of Welcome to Wondaria, albeit with crystals and poison scattered around. After proceeding up the stairs, Kirby discovers a Big Starryflower on a small platform above a floor of poison. A Gotcha Capsule can also be found on a popcorn truck to its left. A Face-Cutout Photo Stand is also to the right of the Starryflower, which causes Starry Coins to fall from the sky when Kirby and Elfilin look through the stand. Destroying the earlier Big Starryflower causes the statue in the center to crystallize and creates another Big Starryflower on the rocket. Destroying this creates a path of crystal leading into the sky, which causes Kirby to enter the next section when followed.
In this area, Kirby must immediately attack another Big Starryflower, which crystallizes the Ferris wheel in the background and creates a path of crystallized tracks forward. Near the end of the crystal tracks, Kirby can find a Big Starryflower under the path that creates a small crystal platform when destroyed. The platform contains a few Starry Coins. After this, some tracks lead to a large, poison-filled platform. A Big Starryflower on the left side of the platform creates a set of tracks over it when destroyed, however. Past the platform, Kirby must dodge some Twirling Star Rockets while creating new tracks with Big Starryflowers. Eventually, he will reach a platform containing a double Twirling Star Rocket. A Big Starryflower under the rockets creates a path to a regular track when attacked. On the track, Kirby can use Pipe Mouth to roll down through the area quickly. After reaching the end, Kirby can enter the next area through a hole in the wall.
This area resembles the interior of Invasion at the House of Horrors. After briefly crossing a platform containing several holes, Kirby will enter an enemy gauntlet, fighting Crystal Sir Kibbles and Phantas before a battle against a Galactal. Its defeat causes a Gotcha Capsule to appear from the void. On the next platform, Kirby may notice a Starry behind a fence. To reach it, Kirby can destroy a Big Starryflower on the left side of the platform to create two moving crystal pillars on the platform. They rise and fall inversely, and Kirby should use them to reach another Big Starryflower on the right. Its activation causes more platforms to appear on the left, which lead to the Starry. After rescuing it, Kirby can enter a Door to go to the next section.
This section returns to the outdoors, with Kirby proceeding across two rotating columns. He must then find a way to reach a high-up column. Fortunately, a spring can be found in a Breakable Crystal on the right. Inhaling it causes several Scarfies and Kabus to spawn around the area, however. After proceeding past a few columns covered in poison, Kirby will reach a set of tracks with Runaway Parade Cars moving along them. The first track contains a sparkling spot that spawns a Gotcha Capsule on a ledge when activated. After collecting it, Kirby must destroy a Big Starryflower on a lower column to create another set of tracks overrun by Runaway Parade Cars. The following section contains many columns with Twirling Star Rockets, and Kirby may notice a massive stack of the Rockets in the distance. To reach the top, Kirby should destroy a Big Starryflower near its base and then jump up the platforms it spawns. At the top, there is another Big Starryflower, which creates tracks leading to the final Starry. Kirby can then ground pound to the goal platform, squishing a Balloon-Meister far below. The goal is directly past it.
