Collect pieces are items in the Kirby series debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Physical Appearance[]
Collect pieces are hexahedrons with a engraved pattern in the middle that make up a star when all five pieces are put together. They come in green and orange colors.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land[]
Collect pieces are typically scattered in sets of five across a certain area. Collecting one piece will show a display at the top of the screen keeping track of how many collect pieces Kirby has found, with smaller gray diamonds representing the unfound collect pieces. If Kirby collects all five pieces, they will form together to create a star which spins once then disappears, revealing certain objects or getting rid of certain barriers for Kirby to advance.
In some instances, collect pieces can appear individually during a gauntlet where they move across the screen. Kirby must grab all the pieces in a gauntlet in one go otherwise he must retry the stage to try again. During certain Mouthful Mode scroller sections, collect pieces also appear individually, however Kirby can hop on a blue retry Warp Star to restart the Mouthful Mode section and try again.
