Chiffon Cake is a minigame stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet.
General Information[]
Chiffon Cake is a multilayered, circular cake. It is topped with frosting and surrounded on its perimeter by treats to prevent players from falling out of bounds. Only one minigame can be played here: "Eat the falling strawberries!" Strawberries and frosted bombs fall from the sky, and the Kirbys must eat the berries while avoiding the hazards. The bombs briefly stun any Kirby they hit. When 20-30 seconds are up, depending on the selected mode, the minigame ends.
Chiffon Cake is a default stage that does not need to be unlocked to appear in battle royale matches.
Variants[]
The stage has three variants that can appear at random at the start of a battle royale match. Each variant has its own unique layout and placement of objects.

The pit in the center and its bridge rotates; Kirbys cannot fall into the pit due to candy barricades. |

This variant has white, sprinkled frosting; a perimeter decorated by round, flat, and swirled lollipops; and a hollowed-out center filled with wafers, covered by a cross-shaped graham cracker bridge, and surrounded by gummy candy fences. The pit in the center and its bridge rotates; Kirbys cannot fall into the pit due to candy barricades. |
Trivia[]
- The wafers inside the center of the second and third Chiffon Cake variants are emblazoned with star and King Dedede insignia.
- Chiffon Cake is by far the rarest minigame stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet.
