Hunk of Meat is a food item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Physical Appearance[]

Hunk of Meat has the appearance of a roasted shank meat on a bone.

Games[]

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[]

Hunk of Meat is a common food item. Like all normal food, it heals Kirby one point of health when consumed. In the cutscene "Desert Desserts," King Dedede eats a Hunk of Meat painted into existence by Adeleine.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror[]

Hunk of Meat heals three vitality points when consumed, making it the second greatest food item in the game, only behind the Maxim Tomato, and ahead of the Energy Drink.

Kirby: Squeak Squad[]

Hunk of Meat heals most of Kirby's default vitality when collected, making it the second best food item in the game, only behind the Maxim Tomato, and ahead of the Energy Drink. Snooters can eat Hunk of Meat if it is nearby them, although this does not heal the Snooter. Hunk of Meat can also appear in a Food bubble. When combining a Hunk of Meat bubble with a Cherry, Energy Drink, or another Hunk of Meat bubble, they turn into a Maxim Tomato bubble; when combining an Energy Drink bubble with a Cherry or another Energy Drink bubble, they turn into a Hunk of Meat bubble.

Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[]

Hunk of Meat appears as a piece of Furniture, located in Lava Landing's second Treasure Chest. In both games, it is called Cartoon Meat. It has a similar appearance to the Hunk of Meat King Dedede eats in the first episode of Kirby: Right Back at Ya!.

Kirby's Return to Dream Land, Kirby: Triple Deluxe, Kirby: Planet Robobot, and Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe[]

Hunk of Meat is a common food item in these games. It has no special healing value, healing the same as all the other common food items.

Kirby Fighters Deluxe, Team Kirby Clash Deluxe, Super Kirby Clash, and Kirby Fighters 2[]

Hunk of Meat functions the same way in all of these games with no special healing value.

Kirby Star Allies[]

Hunk of Meat is a common food item in the game. It has no special healing value, healing the same as all the other common food items. When using Adeleine & Ribbon's Al Fresco Friend Ability, Adeleine can produce a Hunk of Meat; it, along with other food produced from this Friend Ability, heals the same as all the other common food items.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land[]

Hunk of Meat is a common food item in the game. It has no special healing value, healing the same as all the other common food items. Like all food, it has its own Figure.

In Kirby: Right Back at Ya![]

In the first episode, Kirby Comes to Cappy Town, the Cappies from Cappy Town accuse King Dedede of unleashing a monster that devoured their sheep. Dedede is shown holding a Hunk of Meat on his fork while dismissing the accusation.
