Games[]
Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn[]
Chaise Woole operates the only furniture shop in Patch Land, located in Quilty Square. Dom Woole introduces Loomis and him to Kirby and Prince Fluff after they clear Patch Castle, at which point their services become available.
He is responsible for selling extra Furniture in the game, besides the ones found in levels. He doesn't have much initially but new ones are unlocked as Kirby and Prince Fluff progress along the storyline. His furniture count towards the completion rating in Patch Plaza.
Etymology[]
Chaise Woole's name, like his brothers', is derived from the word "wool," a reference to the fabric theme of Patch Land. Additionally, "chaise" translates from French to "chair," a reference to his furniture-selling business.
His Japanese name, カーグ・ウール (Kāgu Ūru), comes from the Japanese word for furniture, かぐ/家具 (Kagu); and "wool," ウール (Ūru).
Trivia[]
- Chaise Woole is one of the few characters in the Kirby series that Kirby can visit and converse with outside of cutscenes. Others include Daroach, Magolor, and the other inhabitants of Quilty Square.
