Dark Matter and its relatives are quite diverse, but all members and suspected members (besides Gooey) are antagonists - often main antagonists - that get their point across by manipulating other beings.

Note that this category should not include beings that are simply possessed by (or thought to be possessed by) Dark Matter, such as King Dedede or Dark Daroach.
