Cannon Tower is a large enemy in Kirby: Triple Deluxe. It appears in Stage 3 of Fine Fields and Stage 3 of Royal Road.

Physical Appearance

Cannon Tower is a tower made up of cannon segments and a turreted tower on top of them. Each cannon segment is made of sandstone brick with a a metal plate covering the front. A muzzle protrusion sticks out of the front. Indentations in the metal are made to resemble eyes and a smile. On the back of each segment is a giant red button.

The Cannon Tower segments seen in Royal Road are made of multicolored bricks.

Games

Kirby: Triple Deluxe

Cannon Tower segments are constantly turning. After firing a missile at Kirby, it will turn around, exposing its weak point. With the Hypernova ability, Kirby can inhale a missile and spit it at the button, destroying the enemy. If the pink puff misses his opportunity, however, the cannon segment will turn toward him and fire another missile.

Certain Cannon Tower segments will extend a long spike column and spin it around. Kirby can dodge this attack by crouching or jumping.

Trivia

  • Cannon Tower's attack, movements, and weakness are similar to those of Blamboom.
  • Only one Cannon Tower in the game is actually a full tower. In all other appearances, Kirby fights only cannon segments.
