Buttonbugs are rare enemies appearing in the game Kirby's Epic Yarn and its remake, Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn.

Physical Appearance

Buttonbugs look like their other counterparts. They are red buttons with transparent wings, a black pattern on their back, black antennae, and a stinger. The stinger looks like a Soocher's spike.

Games

Kirby's Epic Yarn and Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn

Unlike Buttonbees and Buttonflies, Buttonbugs will chase Kirby and Prince Fluff until it hits something or it is defeated. If it hits a wall, they'll be stuck for a while and lose their stinger. When wrapped up into a yarn ball, it will become three homing projectiles when thrown.

They only appear in the Secret Island level. They are the more aggressive than Buttonflies and Buttonbees.
