Butch is part of a clan with Masher and Blade. They all starred in Kirby's Dream Land 2.
He appears to be what was supposed to be the replacement for Ax Knight, knowing Kirby's Adventure, which featured Ax Knight, came before Dream Land 2, featuring Butch.
Apparently, Butch wasn't as successful as Ax Knight, as Ax Knight continued to appear.
Name Origins
- Butch's name comes from the word butcher which means to chop savagely.
