Burning Spark (also called "Match" Kirby[1] or Fire Starter[2]) is a Power Combo in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Games[]

Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards[]

Burning Spark is a Power Combo made by combining the Burning and Spark Copy Abilities. Kirby rubs a towel on his head until it gathers enough static electricity to ignite his head, then runs around on fire. While on fire, Kirby is invulnerable, destroying most enemies on contact. However, he loses the ability to fly, and cannot stop running until the flame dies down.

It can be used to obtain a Crystal Shard hidden at the bottom of the well in Stage 2 of Ripple Star.

Trivia[]

  • Although the description of this ability in Nintendo Power says to use this Power Combo to uncover a Crystal Shard at the bottom of the well in Stage 2 of Ripple Star, Spark, or any Power Combo with Spark, can do it. However, this is the most convenient if one is to play through the game without quitting or backtracking.
