Bumper Crop Bump is a sub-game that appears in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. There are four difficulty levels - easy, medium, hard, and intense!. It is played on a grassy orchard or forest where Kirby holds a basket to catch fruit falling from the trees. On Intense! difficulty, jewels drop instead of fruit, but these are equivalent.
Gameplay
The goal is to have the most fruit when the timer finishes. Characters move left and right to catch fruit in their baskets, pressing A when next to another player will switch positions with that player, and if nothing is next to the player on the other side, he/she will skid some distance.
The rate at which fruit drop from the trees increase as time gets close to running out. Besides fruits, bombs in the form of flashing fruits (or jewels) may drop as well, and the proportion of these compared to fruit increases as time runs out. Catching a bomb will reset the pieces of fruit collected to zero. Anyone around the bomb's explosion will lose fruit as well.
