Brobo is a boss in Kirby's Block Ball. It is the final boss if the player doesn't reach the border line in all the stages.

Physical Appearance

Brobo starts out as a fairly innocent-looking robot head with two eyes and no mouth. It has spherical fists connected to stick-like arms.

Brobo connects to a body that resembles a tall robot with boxing gloves. It now sports angry eyebrows and an antenna on its head. Two objects that appear to be the top of a jet pack protrude from behind the head. Brobo has small feet and a square design on its chest.

Games

Kirby's Block Ball

Brobo appears in the Target Shooting Area of its stage. It doesn't attack Kirby; instead, it peacefully paces up and down in the middle of the room. Every time Kirby hits it, it raises its fists and spins around in anger. Brobo retreats off-screen after four hits and a Warp Star descends to take Kirby to the boss.

When Kirby arrives in the next room, the player sees Brobo, infuriated, gain a mechanical body and become more menacing. Brobo stands on a platform in the middle of the chamber and occasionally hops to the platforms on its left and right. Its head spins around until one of the player's paddles catches its eye. Brobo then attacks by launching its fists at that paddle--an attack that can be dodged with proper timing. If the paddle is hit, it shrinks to a single star; this makes the paddle harder to use and disables its ability to use the Kirby Power Bounce. This state wears off after a short span of time.

In addition to its attacks and dodges, Brobo has three platforms above it. Kirby bounces off these if he hits them, which makes his aim more troubling. The boss has 12 HP like the other normal bosses in the game. After 12 hits from Kirby, Brobo explodes.

Trivia
