Brobo is a boss in Kirby's Block Ball. He is the final boss if the player doesn't reach the borderline in all the stages. Brobo appears in Stage 10.

Appearance

Brobo starts out as a fairly innocent-looking robot head with two eyes and no mouth. He has spherical fists connected to stick-like arms.

Brobo's second and more threatening form resembles a tall robot with boxing gloves and the first form's head (which now sports angry eyebrows and an antenna on top). Two objects that appear to be the top of a jetpack protrude from behind his head. He has small feet and a square design on his chest.

In Kirby's Block Ball

Brobo's weaker form appears in the fourth room of Stage 10. He doesn't attack Kirby; instead, he peacefully paces up and down in the middle of the room. Every time Kirby hits him, he will raise his fists and spin around in anger. It takes four hits to dispatch him. Brobo will then retreat off the screen and a Warp Star will come. The hero must land on this Warp Star to travel to the boss.

When Kirby arrives in the next room, he'll see an infuriated Brobo gain a body and become the robot's second form. Brobo stands on a platform in the middle of the chamber and occasionally hops to the platforms on his left and right. His head spins around until one of the player's paddles catches his eye. Brobo will then attack by launching his fists at that paddle -- an attack that can be dodged with proper timing. If the paddle is hit, it will shrink to a single star; this makes the paddle harder to use and restricts its use. It wears off after a time.

In addition to his attacks and dodges, Brobo has three platforms above him. Kirby will bounce off these if he hits them, which makes his aim more troubling. The boss has ten HP, like the other bosses in the game. After ten hits from the hero, Brobo will explode.
