This can be a real blast if I throw it at an enemy, but if the bomb blast reaches me, it can hurt me as well. If I get too close to a bomb without swallowing it, it might explode - so take care!

Bomb[1] is an item in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Land.

Physical Appearance

In Kirby's Dream Land, the Bomb is a nondescript black sphere with a very short fuse sticking out from it. It appears blue in more recent games.

Games

Kirby's Dream Land

The Bomb appears exclusively in Castle Lololo and Float Islands. When Kirby inhales or walks into it, he can spit it back out, which shoots the bomb across the screen and activates it as it flies. Any enemy standing in front of him will be caught in the blast radius and subsequently defeated.

If the bomb is left alone for a short period after Kirby sees it, it self-destructs.

Kirby's Pinball Land

In the Kracko Land Bonus Game, the player is tasked with bouncing Kirby into items to propel them onto a platform where a non-ball Kirby can eat them. The Bomb is one of these items. It earns the player "+B" (Bonus Points) but causes Kirby to falter, making the player lose opportunities to get more items.

Kirby Super Star Ultra

The Bomb appears exclusively in the Snack Tracks sub-game. Bombs will appear on the conveyor belts alongside food, and players have to tap the bombs with the stylus to fling them away, sending them to someone else's conveyor belt. If the bomb reaches a Kirby, it will detonate, and all of the food on the conveyor belt will be destroyed, along with a long period of stun time.

Kirby: Triple Deluxe and Kirby Fighters Deluxe

The Bomb appears in the Kirby Fighters sub-game (as well as the downloadable Kirby Fighters Deluxe). By using the Action Star, an effect can occur where Bombs are dropped on every Kirby excluding the one who used the Action Star, including Ghost Kirbys.
