Blatzy is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby's Dream Land. It is invincible and cannot be inhaled.
Physical Appearance
Blatzy is a purple cannon mounted on a base. It is a metallic blue color in Kirby Super Star Ultra.
Games
Kirby's Dream Land
Blatzy appears as a replacement for Shotzo in the Extra Game. It has a faster fire rate than that of a Shotzo, shooting five bullets in quick succession. It also homes in on Kirby much more efficiently than Shotzo and fires erratically. The enemy can only be defeated with the Microphone item or by standing inside one while invincible.
One Blatzy in Float Islands is connected to a Parasol and fires directly downward.
Kirby Super Star Ultra
Blatzy reappears in the Revenge of the King sub-game. It acts like it does in Kirby's Dream Land but now fires six bullets in quick succession rather than five. The enemy cannot be defeated in this game.
Trivia
- Blatzys, although they act very similarly to Shotzos, appear in only two games while Shotzos appear in almost every game.
