Blades are small knight enemies that are surprisingly powerful. They have small black bodies and helmets with a single spike on top. They attack by slashing and they can send projectiles (Kine's Light Bulb, Kirby's Cutters) back at Kirby to damage him. They appear in Kirby's Dream Land 2. They usually will guard an animal friend and they are part of a trio with Masher and Butch. Although Masher and Butch resemble Mace Knight and Ax Knight, Blade does not appear to have any clear counterparts among the Meta-Knights. He's first found in Stage 1 of Red Canyon.

- A mini-monster that appears in the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! episode Monster Management bears a striking resemblance to Blade.
