There's a Big Stactus lounging on top of a floor made of metal blocks somewhere. A Big Stactus can make for a great battering ram, if you defeat it. They can summon a storm of thorns, so you'll have to scatter yourselves if that happens!
— Daroach • Kirby Mass Attack

Big Stactus is a large enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Mass Attack. It is a large variant of Stactus.

Physical Appearance

Big Stactus looks almost identical to its smaller counterpart, the only major difference being its greater size. Its eyes are droopier and its needles are longer than a regular Stactus'.

Games

Kirby Mass Attack

Big Stactus appears primarily in Sandy Canyon, though one also dwells in Volcano Valley. Instead of protruding its needles like a Stactus, Big Stactus shoots four wooden arrows from its flower. These arrows drop in the location the Kirbys were in prior to Big Stactus firing. Big Stactus can only be overpowered by a large group of Kirbys or repeated attacks by a small group.

In Stage 7 of Volcano Valley, there is a chance that the Kirbys will end up in a room with a Big Stactus if they enter an Ill Door. The only way to escape is to defeat it.
