Battles in the air are brewin', but if you have Coo, you'll be OK. Nruff and Nelly will be waiting for you.

Big Forest is a level that Kirby visits in the Kirby's Dream Land trilogy. It is the second level of Kirby's Dream Land 2.

Level Intro[]

As Coo is sleeping on a cliff, Kirby wakes him up to grab an apple off of a tall branch. The duo succeed, but Coo drops the apple! An exasperated Kirby starts lashing out at an embarrassed Coo.

General Information[]

Big Forest is home to Coo the Owl and features a number of stages that expand both horizontally and vertically. The boss of this level is Nruff and Nelly.

Rainbow Drop[]

The Green Rainbow Drop is located in Stage 2. Go to the bottom left of the first room in order to find a door. Inside is the Rainbow Drop. Needle is needed to break the Ability Blocks. As Spikey, the enemy granting Needle, hasn't appeared yet, exit the room and go through the stage, where Spikeys can be found in the second room. Inhale one and finish the stage. Re-enter the stage and enter the door found at the bottom left of the first room. Use Needle with Coo to destroy the Ability Blocks. The Green Rainbow Drop can be obtained without Coo.

Big Forest is the second level in Kirby's Dream Land 2. Unlike most of the other levels, it is not available or accessible in Kirby's Dream Land 3. The music theme itself for Big Forest was not reused anywhere else until Kirby and the Rainbow Curse.

Related Quotes[]

This stage is still relatively easy, but having Coo along gives you a definite advantage. Not only can you maneuver around obstacles, he makes it easier to find items hidden in the high branches of trees.
