Bernard is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. He yields the Ranger ability when inhaled.
Physical Appearance[]
Bernard is a dog-like creature with long, light gray and dark gray hair that covers the majority of his body. He has yellow hands and feet, along with a black nose. He wears an explorer hat with a red strap and a light on the front. His ears are exposed on the top of his hat. He has small, white eyes with black pupils which are usually obscured by his hat. He also carries around a dragon with a copper handle and a gold muzzle.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land[]
Bernard makes his debut in Kirby and the Forgotten Land. Bernard will idly wander around until he encounters Kirby, where he will draw his dragon and fire a metal ball at him. Afterwards, Bernard will take cover behind a rock or presumably some other object if there are any nearby before firing again. Bernards make their first appearance in the third stage of Natural Plains, Rocky Rollin' Road.
Etymology[]
The word "Bernard" comes from the breed of the dog "Saint Bernard".
