The Battery is an item in the Kirby games that has appeared in two games, both with greatly different uses.

Kirby Air Ride

Battery small

The Charge Patch as seen in City Trial

Various Battery items appear in this game. In Top Ride, a battery with a lightning bolt will give Kirby's machine an increased speed gain from boosting. Another one appears as a patch in City Trial, and is used to upgrade a machine's charging speed, making it charge faster. A battery similar in appearance to the one from Top Ride will make Kirby's Air Ride Machine go out of control. Lastly, a battery with a blue "X" on it will make the machine travel at a fixed, slow speed of 16mph and be unable to charge, so it should be avoided.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror

AM Battery

Meat and a battery.

In this game, batteries are found as common items scattered across the Mirror World. They power Kirby's Cell Phone, which uses up one battery every time it is used. The phone can hold up to three batteries at a time.
