Baron Gallic is a character in the Kirby series. He serves as the main antagonist in the Kirby of the Stars: Meta Knight and the Apostle Princess novel. He is responsible for kidnapping Princess Marona.

Physical Appearance[]

Baron Gallic is a slender lizard-like man. He has turquoise scales as well as purple eyelids and spines, and he has red eyes and a mustache that is shaped like the letter W. Gallic often carries around a glowing red jewel called the Malice Stone.

In the Kirby of the Stars novel series[]

Baron Gallic serves as the main antagonist in the Kirby of the Stars: Meta Knight and the Apostle Princess novel. He is a thief, although he appears gentlemanly in nature. He uses his Malice Stone to plant hatred into those that see its red light, to which he can manipulate them; subjects will have no memories of when they are manipulated. If the subject thinks about their favorite things, they will be released from the art; since Kirby always thinks about his favorite food, he cannot be affected by it; people who care about themselves and have a strong memory will not be easily affected. Baron Gallic himself is manipulated by the jewel, for he cannot love himself; he has dedicated himself to jewelry techniques and continues to steal gems to make his jewelry glow.

In the past, he became acquainted with Sword Knight and Blade Knight; he manipulated them into thinking Meta Knight was evil in order to try to steal Galaxia. However, they failed due to Daroach's interference.

In present time, he approaches Merengue XIII, King of Chiffon Star, and manipulates his daughter, Princess Marona, into stealing the national treasure recipe book. He also intends to take the throne and assassinate Merengue XIII.

Etymology[]

"Gallic" is a corruption of the word garlic, a type of bulb-like plant.
