BBQ is a Battle Royale stage in Kirby's Dream Buffet.
General Information[]
BBQ is a large, rectangular barbecue grill with a blue rim. It appears to be on at low heat, as a red hue can be seen between the slats. The surface of the grill is covered in food: hamburger patties topped with cheese slices and/or bacon strips; slices of onion, cucumber, carrot, and bell pepper; wieners; and asparagus spears. Skewers are sometimes positioned sticking into a vegetable slice or multiple food items.
BBQ is an unlockable stage, and it can be unlocked by reaching Gourmet Rank 19. After being unlocked, the stage can appear in a Battle Royale match.
Variants[]
The stage has three variants that can appear at random at the start of a Battle Royale match. Each variant has its own unique layout and placement of objects.

In this variant, the layout of the stage consists of four elevated burger patty stacks in the corners of the stage, connected vertically by bacon bridges. A large patty is placed in the center, four vegetable slices (where the Kirbys start) are adjacent to it, and other vegetables are haphazardly strewn about the rest of the grill. A skewer sticks up out of a bell pepper slice in the upper-left corner, serving as a minor wall if Kirbys attempt to roll around it. After enough time has passed, the Server Hands use the Dream Fork to pluck the bacon strips off the patty stacks, making it slightly less convenient to move between them. |

In this variant, the grill is littered with wiener and asparagus ramps. Loose vegetable slices are scattered around, with two serving as starting points near the middle of the stage. Two patty stacks appear in the upper-left and lower-right, which act as two more starting platforms. Asparagus spears form ramps up to the left side of the top patty and the right side of the bottom patty. |

In this variant, three patty stacks are scattered across the grill; one in the middle, one on the left, and the last one in the bottom right. The former two are connected by a bridge comprised of two sausages, while the latter has an asparagus ramp on its left side. Vegetables such as onion and carrot slices and asparagus spears are littered around the grill. Two skewers stick into the leftmost patty and into an onion to the upper-right of the patty in the center. Bacon strips are also placed on the top-left and rightmost areas of the grill. |
