Apollo is an enemy that appears only in Kirby's Dream Land 3. It resembles a black and pink or black and light-blue cone and spins continually around trees or other rounded objects. If it is inhaled and eaten, Kirby will recover some of his vitality. Apollo is sometimes hard to inhale, due to the fact that in one stage, it appears on high platforms.

- Judging from the way it's shaped and its name, Apollo may be derived from the famous spacecraft of the same name. It may also be derived from a Japanese candy that it resembles (called aporo candy). It is cone-shaped, and has two different flavors. It can either be strawberry or chocolate flavored, or strawberry or blueberry flavored.
- Apollo is the only enemy in Kirby's Dream Land 3 to have two different palettes.
