Mr. Anglep is an enemy in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby Super Star Ultra. He yields the Crash Copy Ability but cannot be inhaled under normal circumstances.
Physical Appearance[]
Mr. Anglep is a small, floating, green apple-like creature with a single dark green leaf on the stem on his head. When provoked, he turns red and reveals scattered sharp teeth; his eyes in this form are a completely dark red color, and his body also appears to be hollow in this form, making him somewhat resemble a Jack-o'-lantern.

Kirby Super Star Ultra[]
Mr. Anglep appears in the Revenge of the King sub-game, serving as a stronger version of Scarfy. Like his weaker counterpart, Mr. Anglep is first seen on top of the stronghold in Illusion Islands. Mr. Anglep will turn into a vicious, angry creature if Kirby tries to inhale him or hit him with a weak attack; some Mr. Angleps also transform if Kirby turns his back on them. Compared to Scarfys, Mr. Angleps have more health and do not self-destruct as soon. Many Mr. Angleps, unlike Scarfys, will dash in a straight line off the screen in their Mutant form, as opposed to chasing Kirby directly.
Like Scarfys, Kirby can get the Crash Copy Ability from these enemies if he uses the Copy Copy Ability on them. However, Mr. Angleps cannot be inhaled under regular circumstances because they transform once provoked. They are weak to the Sizzle element.
Etymology[]
Mr. Anglep's name is likely a portmanteau of the words angry and apple.
