The Alivel Holding Company was a corporation in the Kirby series, debuting in Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
General Information[]
Though the company is defunct by the time of the events of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, evidence of it is scattered throughout the ruins of the forgotten world. Alivel Holding Company owned a variety of businesses, such as entertainment arenas, food shops, and service industries. The company was most known for the Alivel Mall, a brand of shopping mall established around the forgotten world before it was eventually abandoned.
Etymology[]
"Alivel" is derived from the word "alive," fitting their corporate slogan. The name may also be based on "arrival," as it's one of the first locations the player visits.
Trivia[]
- Alivel Holding Company and its fellow companies, Holine Corp. and Lightron Works Company, spell HAL when initialized.
- Because a separate logo for Alivel Holding Company is never shown, and is instead always accompanied with the Alivel Mall logo, they presumably share the same logo.
