Trivia[]
- The only abilities in Kirby: Squeak Squad to lack Ability Scrolls are Ghost, Triple Star, and the ones derived from Sword's and Bomb's Ability Scrolls.
- The elemental swords are normal in water. This is likely due to their ability to interact with the environment, which could cause strange behaviors if Ice Sword or Thunder Sword were usable underwater.
- The color palettes for the sprites of the Ability Scrolls are similar to, if not the same as, most of the Spray Paints. This extends into several unused Ability Scroll sprites.
- The colors for an Ability Scroll generally correspond to the Copy Ability it is associated with.
- The Sword and Bomb Ability Scrolls share the sapphire palette, which may be a reference to Link from The Legend of Zelda series, as Link frequently uses a sword and bombs in his series and is the main inspiration of their hats (most particularly Sword's).
- Sword's Ability Scroll being sapphire may also be a reference to Meta Knight, as Sword is otherwise often associated with the color green.
