A fun Kirby coloring activity! is a web game in the Kirby series. It was developed and published by Nintendo in 2022 as a promotion for Kirby and the Forgotten Land.
Gameplay[]
A fun Kirby coloring activity! is a simple coloring program. The player is given an uncolored image of Kirby riding the Warp Star and various colors—four shades of pink, magenta, burgundy, blue, yellow, orange, and white—with which to color it. The game has two modes: Free Color and Color By Number.
In Free Color, the player can use the cursor, a capacitive stylus, or a finger, to freely color the image. This mode offers an image guide for reference, an eraser, a brush thickness slider, undo and redo commands, and a reset option. In Color By Number, the player is restricted to coloring each area of the picture with accurate color. An image guide and undo feature are present, as well as options drag the image around the canvas, magnify/shrink the image up to four times, and reset the picture. When either mode is completed, the player can choose between seven borders and eight backgrounds. Some of the borders feature Waddle Dees, Meta Knight, and King Dedede. From there, the player can download the finished picture and/or start again.
