Is King D-Mind the fusion of Dark Mind and Shadow Dedede or is the black mirror counterpart of King Dedede?

Dark Taranza is Taranza's counterpart from the black mirror. King D-Mind also comes from the black mirror. King D-Mind is Shadow Dedede with a mask (a fusion with Dark Mind). Does this make King D-Mind the counterpart of Masked Dedede from the black mirror?
